Carrie B. Rainen is a real estate attorney with more than 30 years in the real estate and title industry, including more than 20 years as an attorney.
She represents buyers, sellers, and lenders in Massachusetts residential and commercial real estate transactions and provides in-house title examination services across Massachusetts and New Hampshire.
Her work is practical and detail-oriented. Carrie helps clients navigate purchases, sales, and financing, while examining records and property history that can affect title. She brings clear communication and careful legal guidance to a process that can otherwise feel overwhelming.
Professional Leadership & Recognition
Carrie is a past president of the Real Estate Bar Association of Massachusetts and serves on its Board of Directors, including as co-chair of the REBA Standards and Forms Committee. She is also a member of REBA’s Women’s Networking Section, a member of the Abstract Club of Boston, a Land Court Examiner, a trustee of MCLE, and a member of MCLE’s Real Estate and Environmental Law Curriculum Advisory Committee.
Carrie was named a Super Lawyers Rising Star in 2016 and a Super Lawyer in 2024 and 2025. She regularly presents on real estate, title, registered land, trusts, and related legal issues.
